SELINSGROVE — Susquehanna University students will perform “Spring Awakening” at the Degenstein Theatre from Thursday to Sunday.
The alt-rock musical is set in 19th century Germany and follows a group of teenagers who are struggling with the transition into adulthood and societal expectations. The story delves into the mysteries of attraction, sexuality, insecurity and adolescent struggles. The coming-of-age show will be directed by Kevin Christopher Crowe with musical direction by David Steinau. The musical will be performed at 7:30 p.m. from Thursday to Saturday and at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for senior citizens and non-Susquehanna University students.
