NASHUA, N.H. —

With all of the uncertainty recently over SNAP benefits amid the government shutdown, hundreds of people have been turning to mobile food pantries in our state for help.

If you’ve never been to a mobile food pantry before, the process is easy.

WMUR recently pulled into a mobile food pantry in Nashua, just before 11:30 a.m. on a weekday morning. There were already 100 cars ahead of our crew.

Those in need were greeted with friendly faces and people who care.
