Former Kent policewoman Shanice Bennett is raising money to fuel her bucket list wishes as she waits to find out how long she has left following her breast cancer diagnosis
A woman who said her breast cancer concerns were dismissed by a GP who said she was "too young" to develop the deadly disease has just months left to live after it spread throughout her body.
Shanice Bennett, a police officer, was just 23 when she found a lump and was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2023. She spent years in remission before the cancer returned with a vengeance, and it has now spread to her liver, lungs and bones.
Shanice, from Sittingbourne, Kent, has said her initial diagnosis was passed off by her GP, forcing her to push for a referral the medics suggested "nothing was going to come of"
