WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals announced Thursday that the first group of nine cats recently rescued from a hoarding situation are now up for adoption.
The RISPCA will have open adoption hours Thursday and Friday from noon-4 p.m.
The organization said that there are more than many other cats available to adopt from the hoarding case, and multiple others to take home.
According to the RISPCA, the residence had 46 cats including kittens, two of which were pregnant with one having since given birth.
Four dogs were also rescued from the home.
