MARSHALL, Wis. (WMTV) - Police in Marshall arrested two people after a stabbing left one person hurt on Wednesday.

The Marshall Police Department responded just before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to the 100 block of Spruce Lane. Officers reported finding one person who had been beaten and stabbed multiple times.

EMS took the victim to an emergency room. The victim is expected to survive, the police department said.

Officers arrested two individuals and took them both to the Dane County Jail.

One person was booked on potential charges of attempted homicide, while the other was booked attempted homicide- as party to a crime.

Marshall Police Department did not name the suspects.

The agency added there is no threat to the public.
