Mia Alexandra Malek will become a bat mitzvah Saturday afternoon, Nov. 15, at B’nai Jeshurun Congregation. She is the daughter of Mandi and Jeff Malek, and the sister of Jamie. Hallie is the granddaughter of Rae and Mike Malek, and Lia and Bezalel Chesner. She attends Solon Middle School. Mia enjoys soccer, cheering on Cleveland sports teams and traveling. For her mitzvah project, Mia is helping underprivileged kids gain access to soccer equipment through The Gift of Soccer.
