Three new Indiana State Troopers assigned to the Toll Road Post received their patrol vehicles on November 13 after completing three months of field training. The probationary troopers graduated from the 87th ISP Recruit Academy in July and were issued the first of the agency’s newly designed Dodge Durango Pursuit vehicles during a ceremony in Indianapolis.
ISP Superintendent Anthony Scott said the new white-over-blue look honors the agency’s history while pointing toward its future.
The new troopers are:
Trooper John Levitz , Prairie Heights High School and Purdue graduate, U.S. Army veteran, of Steuben County. He will patrol the Toll Road in LaGrange and Steuben counties.
