Portion of Hwy 14 eastbound in Fitchburg closed for serious crash

FITCHBURG, Wis. (WMTV) - A portion of Highway 14 eastbound in Fitchburg is closed Thursday morning as police respond to a serious crash.

Fitchburg Police Department said in a Facebook post at 9:45 a.m. that the serious crash shut down the eastbound lanes of Highway 14 between McCoy Road and Lacy Road.

The police department asked drivers to find other routes and to avoid this area.

FPD said it will alert people to when the road reopens.

Police did not state if anyone is hurt or how many vehicles are involved.
