Storm Claudia's heavy rain and winds has led to Bedworth's outdoor market being cancelled. Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council has cancelled tomorrow's market in the town centre.
This is due to the two Met Office weather alerts in place, one 'yellow' and one 'amber, as the storm is set to sweep in tomorrow morning (November 14) bring heavy downpours and strong gusts of wind.
"Due to tomorrow's forecasted high winds, the decision has been made to cancel Bedworth Outdoor Market on Friday, 14 November," the council statement reads, adding that the indoor market will still be open.
The statement adds: "Bedworth Covered Market will be open as normal, outside traders are welcome to trade inside instead. Thank you for your understanding."
