TALLULAH, La. (KNOE) - The playground at Tallulah’s City Park will be closed for several months, the city announced.

The City of Tallulah announced on Thursday that Entergy will be working on power lines that run through City Park and along the south bank of Panola Bayou. The playground area of City Park will be closed while Entergy works on the project, which will take about four months.

According to the city’s Facebook, the walk track will stay open, and temporary fencing will be built to prevent people from going into the project area.

The city added that the track will close for a period of time, which will be determined at a later date.
