A man has been found guilty of a gun conspiracy after he asked his pal to 'hit' a Middlesbrough house days before a shotgun was fired through the front window. Euan Corbett denied conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence following an incident in Liverton Avenue in July 2023.
But, following less than two hours of deliberation, a jury found Corbett guilty of the single charge. Taking to the stand, the 26-year-old had told jurors during the trial, which spanned three days, that he never asked for a firearm to be used during an attack.
