President Donald Trump late on Nov. 12 signed a bill to fund the federal government through Jan. 30 shortly after the House of Representatives approved the deal by a 222-209 vote.
The end to the longest shutdown in U.S. history doesn’t mean an immediate return to normalcy as the funding and agencies come online. The deal was settled with a largely party-line vote in the House, and Colorado’s representatives fell into lockstep with their parties.
