Speaking recently to Fox News, the former Giants quarterback — who is currently enjoying a career revival with the 8-2 Colts — said he believes his successor in New York will “be all right” as he navigates a new normal without head coach Brian Daboll, who was fired Monday after three-and-a-half seasons at the helm.

“Heard great things about him and a lot of people in New York have really enjoyed working with him and playing with him. I think he’s played really well this year, and I look forward to watching him,” said Jones, who added he doesn’t “know Jaxson personally.”
