Lady Gaga revealed just how bad her “Disease” got during the late 2010s. The singer was “on lithium” while filming the 2018 movie A Star Is Born, she told Rolling Stone in her November 13 cover story. Then, during the Joanne World Tour, which immediately followed production of that film, she says she had a psychotic break. “There was one day that my sister said to me, ‘I don’t see my sister anymore,’” Gaga said. “And I canceled the tour.” In September 2017, Gaga postponed multiple performances in Europe and later canceled the last ten stops of the tour after being hospitalized, citing pain due to fibromyalgia.
