Kendall County commissioners on Nov. 12 updated the agreement with the Alamo Area Council of Governments to provide transportation services to residents through the Alamo Regional Transit program.

ART serves 12 rural counties surrounding San Antonio, offering rides for seniors, medical trips, event outings and other uses.
Kendall County has been part of the program, and the updated agreement extends the services for an additional year for $8,000, according to the contract.
During the meeting, Commissioner Jennifer McCall mentioned recent delays in the service.
