Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders gave a car to a woman in need, even after she admitted she was an Eagles fan, not a Browns fan.
Sanders worked with a local car dealership to give away a vehicle to someone in need. Applicants had to write an essay detailing why they or someone they knew deserved to have the car.
Torri Wright of Avon, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, was selected as the winner thanks to an essay her daughter wrote detailing the sacrifices her mother made for their family.
In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) , Sanders called Wright on Monday, telling her that she won. A tearful Wright explained that the engine in her car had failed and she had to walk and use ride-sharing services to get around.
