STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The PSAL playoffs commence this week and last Friday’s epic contest between Tottenville and host Curtis was a nail-biter, to say the least.

The Pirates squeezed out a 14-13 triumph to secure the No. 1 seed while the Warriors earned the No. 3 seed for the 4A playoffs.
