Tributes have been paid to the woman who sadly died after she was hit by a car in St Helens.

Police were called to Clock Face Road at 5.35pm on Monday evening (November 3) following reports of a collision involving 25-year-old Rebecca Hall and a white Suzuki Vitara.

Rebecca was rushed to hospital with significant injuries, but unfortunately passed away on Wednesday, November 5. An investigation was launched to establish the circumstances of this incident.

In a tribute to Rebecca, known affectionately as Becky, her family said: "As a family we are devastated at the passing of a beautiful daughter, sister, grand-daughter, niece, cousin, girlfriend and much loved friend Rebecca (Becky).

"Becky was funny, kind and was the most beautiful soul inside and out who cared for everyon
