WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Winston County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest for an Auto Burglary charge.

According to Sheriff Mike Perkins, a vehicle was burglarized in the Noxapater community on Jessie White Road, Sunday, November 9.

Video footage from a nearby business showed a suspect, 18-year-old Jaquarious Mayes of Noxapater.

Perkins said Mayes admitted to breaking into a vehicle and stealing from a bag.

Bond was set at $5,000.
