Kevin Walters has explained the Kangaroos' lacklustre performances in attack and signalled his intent to coach the side at the World Cup after an Ashes clean sweep.
Australia was way too good for England in the rugby league Ashes, winning all three matches comfortably.
But the cohesion of the side came under the pump following every match, with the Kangaroos not completing over 70 per cent of sets in either game.
England beat them when it came to completions but its attack couldn't bring many points.
Walters was more in the mood to credit his defence when interviewed on his return to Australia.
"We scored enough points to win the series, that's what we're about," he said.
