England paceman Mark Wood has been cleared of serious injury after reporting stiffness in his left hamstring, which sent a scare through camp ahead of The Ashes.
Following precautionary scans on Friday, Wood has been cleared of any concerns regarding his left hamstring.
He is not expected to play on the third day of England's warm-up match against the Lions XI at Lilac Hill Park, Perth on Saturday.
Wood will continue to train as planned in the build-up to the first Test in Perth.
Wood bowled eight overs on day one of England's tour match against the England Lions.
He finished with 0-29 with Ben Stokes doing the majority of the damage, dismissing Tom Haines (20), Jacob Bethell (2), Jordan Cox (53) and Rehan Ahmed (16).
Wood comes into the Ashes series off the back of a long lay off
