DIERKS, Ark. (KSLA) - Dierks High School is celebrating their win of a major nationwide contest.
On Friday (Nov. 14), the school is celebrating with leaders from T-Mobile after winning the company’s nationwide Friday Night 5G Lights contest . The celebration is recognizing the “incredible spirit and unity” of the Dierks community, which helped propel the school to the win.
School officials say the school got nearly two million votes in the contest to help win a new stadium at the school.
At the celebration, the school will be presented with a check for $1 million from T-Mobile to build a new stadium.
