A low-key meeting of the Oldham-Ramona-Rutland school board took place in the Rutland gymnasium on Nov. 13, with a handful of attendees scattered throughout the bleachers for the durations of the one-hour meeting, which was, for all intents and purposes, business as usual, though changes to sports programming may be on the horizon.
Immediate changes to sports programming will impact the girls' basketball program in a positive light. Due to a suspected low number of high school players, the language in the school handbook stating that junior high players cannot play at both a junior high and school level is being edited so selected players can participate at both levels in order to bolster varsity numbers. ×
