A crowdfunding campaign is raising money for the family of a 20-year-old Wright County woman who was killed by a coworker with a sledgehammer.

Amber Czech was bludgeoned to death Tuesday morning at Advanced Process Technologies fabrication facility in Cakota. A fellow employee, 40-year-old David Bruce Delong of Watkins, has been charged with murder.

A GoFundMe was established for the Czech family to help cover funeral costs and other unexpected expenses.

"Amber was a hardworking welder who took great pride in her craft and dreamed of building a bright future through her work," organizers wrote in the GoFundMe. "Her witty personality, positive attitude, and beautiful smile touched everyone who knew her."
