Two people, including police officer, taken to hospital after Georgetown crash

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WKYT) - Two people, including a police officer, were taken to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash Friday evening in Georgetown.

According to the Georgetown Police Department, the crash happened at the intersection of Lemons Mill Road and the Bypass. One of the vehicles involved was a police cruiser.

Both the officer and another person were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
