Concord Police are investigating after two men were found dead in separate vehicles Friday afternoon in the parking lot outside the Walmart store in Concord.

At 1:15 p.m. Friday, Concord Police responded to the Walmart store on Loudon Road to investigate the report of an unattended death, after a caller reported that a male was seated inside a parked vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound.

Police confirmed the man to be dead at the scene. While investigating, officers discovered a second vehicle parked nearby with a male seated inside who was also confirmed dead.

The identities of the deceased individuals were not released Friday night amid the ongoing investigation, Concord Police said in a release.

The manner of death of the two men has yet to be determined, police said.
