ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - City police are asking residents for information on a man abandoning his cats in South St. Louis Friday.

The incident took place around 2 p.m. Surveillance video shows the suspect discarding four cats from a red minivan in an alleyway between Pennsylvania and Mississippi.

Police say they were able to find three of the cats and were declawed. Anyone with a tip should contact SLMPD at (314) 444-0001.
