OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - An intersection drivers called ‘chaotic’ and ‘hectic’ might now be easier to navigate, thanks to a brand new roundabout.

First Alert 6 reported on the intersection at 204th and Cumberland after businesses complained about heavy, and sometimes dangerous, traffic in the area.

Now, neighbors say with that new roundabout in place, things are running much more smoothly.

“It’s a busy intersection. Menards is there. You have all the sports that are up here,” Ashley Bossert, co-owner of CiShirts, said, describing the traffic in the area.

“There’s hundreds of kids that funnel in and out of those businesses, or the sports complex up there, and so you have all of those cars,” she added.
