According to a news release from the Trumbull County Auditor, Martha Yoder, the county has been notified that a third-party vendor that one of the county offices uses for some services is reporting a potential security breach.

The third-party vendor is used by one of the Trumbull County offices for "a small set of services", according to the release.

The nature of the services that the potential security breach would impact is not listed in the release.

Yoder's office has notified the state of the potential issue and is also working with several security vendors to determine the possibility of a security breach within the Trumbull County data system.
