FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - An advancing warm front helped push temperatures well beyond expectations today with highs reaching the mid 60s! It suddenly felt like mid October again :)

Saturday won’t likely overachieve in the same way for a couple of reasons. First, it is expected to be cloudier. Second, the warm front will already be well on its way with a cold front on its heels Saturday evening/night. This will usher in much colder air with highs Sunday as much as 20º cooler! The upside? It will be mostly sunny.

As far as wind is concerned, Saturday looks like the windiest day with gusts potentially exceeding 30 mph throughout the late morning, afternoon, and evening. Sunday’s gusts will likely approach 30 mph, but I expect any gusts exceeding that number will be the exception.
