SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - A new traffic alert you’ll need to be aware of next week.

Starting Monday, Riverside Drive between Michigan Street and Lafayette Boulevard will be closed.

This is due to improvements to sewer infrastructure in the area.

The detour route will be Michigan Street and Lafayette Boulevard via Bartlett Street.

The closure is expected to last through Friday, December 12th.
