The Blinn College esports Valorant team reached the championship match of the NJCAA Esports (NJCAAe) East Central Regional Tournament on Thursday.
The Buccaneers defeated Madison College 2-0 in a best-of-three semifinal series and will now face Pratt Community College in a best-of-three title match at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, with a berth in the NJCAAe national tournament on the line.
Competing for Blinn against Madison was the team of Samuel Long, Hayden Rubino, Milad Khorsandi, Ilies Dolliazal, and Brian Yang.
