A man was arrested in connection to an assault that happened in Center City at the beginning of November , according to the Philadelphia Police Department.

Police had originally reported that a man was attacked by someone around 1:20 a.m. on the 600 block of Chestnut Street on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Then, on Nov. 14, officers saw a person who allegedly matched the description of the suspect wanted for the assault on the 100 block of Chestnut Street, police explained. The person was wearing a hat that was similar to the wanted suspect.

The person was identified as Jose Luis Garcia, 36, and was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and other related charges, police said.
