Four friends were killed in a crash with a speeding semi-truck on U.S. 87 on Nov. 5, Texas authorities reportedly said

All of the victims died at the scene, while the driver of the 18-wheeler was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

The families of four friends are grieving after they were reportedly killed in a collision with a speeding 18-wheeler while on a road trip in Texas last week.

The crash occurred on the afternoon of Nov. 5 approximately 10 miles south of Dalhart, CBS affiliate KHOU , ABC affiliate KVII and the Amarillo Globe-News reported, citing the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
