As more Americans plan to cut back on holiday spending in 2025, Amazon is launching one of its longest discount events yet.
Amazon will begin its Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday deals on Thursday, Nov. 20. The 12 days of discounts will continue through Monday, Dec. 1.
The online retail giant said its 2025 event will feature millions of deals across popular categories, with new price drops every day. Shoppers can expect up to 50% off artificial Christmas trees, seasonal décor, and some Amazon devices, including the Echo Dot Max, Fire TV Stick 4K Select, Kindles, and several Blink cameras.
Other electronics will see huge cuts, including up to 50% off JBL and Canon products, up to 45% off Bose audio and PC hardware from ACER and ASUS, and up to 40% off home entertainment from LG, TCL, and Hisense. Certain Samsung and Google items will also see discounts up to 35%.
Amazon Fresh will also offer holiday meal deals, including Butterball turkey at $0.69 per pound and markdowns on stuffing, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. Customers can also save 20% when they buy six or more bottles of wine through Nov. 30.
For home and kitchen needs, Amazon will take up to 55% off some Shark products, as well as up to 40% off for BISSELL and iRobot cleaning products, along with kitchen brands including Ninja, Vitamix, Staub, Bentgo, and Nespresso.
Clothing brands like GAP, Levi's, NAADAM, New Balance, Carhartt, AllSaints, and Derek Lam 10 Crosby will be up to 50% off. Shopbop labels will see deals of up to 25% off.
Families can also find several major toy discounts, including up to 40% off toys from MAGNA-TILES, Melissa & Doug, Little Tykes, Play-Doh, and NERF. Classic toys from American Girl, Fisher-Price, and Hasbro will be discounted up to 30%, along with favorites from Disney, Barbie, Marvel, Star Wars, and Harry Potter.
Some other deals include:
- Up to 80% off Kindle books
- Up to 65% off print book titles
- Three-month Kindle Unlimited trial for $0.99
- Up to 50% off hotels and vacation rentals on Expedia
- 35% off Disney Cruise Line bookings
- 50% off Norwegian Cruise Line trips
- 30% off Avis car rentals with an Amazon.com gift card reward
Amazon will also use 15 hours of live sports on Black Friday to advertise its deals. Prime Video will show an NBA doubleheader, the Chicago Bears at Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL, and the PGA Tour's Skins Game on Friday, Nov. 28.
The deals come as most holiday shoppers plan to shrink their budgets in 2025.
A new WalletHub survey found that 85% of Americans expect to spend the same or less over the holidays than in 2024, while only 15% say they'll spend more. Nearly two-thirds of Americans say their financial issues will make the holiday season "less fun."
The findings mirror other national forecasts, including a September outlook from PricewaterhouseCoopers. PwC said that holiday budgets are expected to drop 5% in 2025, the first decline since the COVID-19 pandemic.
An Amazon Prime subscription costs $14.99 a month or $139 a year.
