Confessed conman Dave Guylenz Mitchell Beauvais won’t know until at least next month when he will face a sentencing hearing for his fraud scheme to elicit unlawful student loans.

Crown prosecutor Greg Whiteside appeared in Calgary Court of King’s Bench on Friday to indicate Beauvais’ Ontario lawyer, David Costa, wasn’t prepared to set a sentencing date and the court’s schedule for the new year was not yet available.

But Whiteside told Justice David Labrenz the case is already scheduled for an interim motion on Dec. 11, so a sentencing date can be scheduled then.
