A dog attack in Cullman County last week left a 9-year-old girl with serious injuries. Her mother shared images of her injuries with WVTM 13.

Nine-year-old Delyla McCay is very brave when describing what happened to her last week.

She said, “The dog was walking down the steps, and he bit my face and started shaking his head.”

The Hanceville Elementary fourth-grade student was left bloodied and bruised. Her mother shared pictures with us of emergency responders on the scene. Her injuries were so serious that she was airlifted to Children’s of Alabama.
