New Delhi: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has cancelled the medical registrations of four doctors accused of involvement in the Jaish-e-Mohammed terror module connected to the November 10 Delhi blast, effectively barring them from practising medicine anywhere in India.
In a formal notice issued on Friday, the NMC ordered the removal of the names of Muzaffar Ahmad, Adeel Ahmad Rather, Muzammil Shakeel and Shaheen Saeed from both the Indian Medical Register (IMR) and the National Medical Register (NMR) with immediate effect.
The commission stated that the four individuals “can no longer practice medicine or hold any medical appointment anywhere in India”, directing all State Medical Councils to update their records and ensure strict compliance.
