MISSION, Ore. – The search for Wesley Dixon Jones, a missing 71-year-old member of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, has expanded beyond the original search area.
Jones was last seen on October 5 along East Short Mile Road on the reservation. He was in a gray 2003 Ford Escape. When the vehicle returned west on the same road, Jones was no longer visible. The identity of the driver has not been disclosed due to the investigation.
Jones is described as Native American, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with long black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black and red Tiger Scott jacket, a black shirt, black sweatpants and boots.
