A restaurant south of Boston that is known in part for its steak tips and pizza -- and which is owned by the niece of a well-known local restaurateur -- is shutting down.

According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, 16C in Quincy is closing its doors in late December, with a Facebook post from the Cottage Avenue dining spot showing a multi-page note from owner Kerri Lynch Delaney that concludes with the following:
