PITTSBURG, Kan. — Jack Bachelor scored a game-high 23 points to lead No. 2-ranked Washburn to a 95-63 victory against Minnesota State Moorhead on Friday in nonconference NCAA Division II men's basketball.

True freshman Isa El-Amin paced the Dragons with 14 points and three assists. Dominic Gooden scored a team-high 16 points. Washburn knocked off MSUM in the Central Region title game last season.

The Dragons (0-1) next play at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, against Pitt State at John Lance Arena.
