BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -A man is arrested following a deadly motor vehicle crash on Nov. 1.

According to the Bowling Green Police Department, officers responded to the scene in the 2300 block of Russellville Road where they found Asenda Lotemba died from injuries in the crash.

An investigation revealed that 20-year-old Imata Songola, of Bowling Green, was driving a vehicle that crossed the center line and hit the vehicle Lotemba was in.

Songola was injured in the incident and taken to UofL Hospital for treatment.

Following his release from the hospital, authorities took Songola into custody.

He has been charged with Vehicular Homicide While Under the Influence of Alcohol and Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence.
