The New South Wales government has warned public servants to show respect for their colleagues and the wider community after a neo-Nazi demonstration at the state’s parliament last week.
About 60 affiliates of the National Socialist Network, dressed in black and mostly donning sunglasses, assembled outside the building in the centre of Sydney last Saturday.
They held a sign reading “abolish the Jewish lobby” while chanting slogans.
Online and Jewish investigative groups have identified some of the men present, one of whom was Sydney Trains guard Cooper Stephens who has since been stood down.
