CARTHAGE, Mo. — Carthage rode the strength of an 18-point third quarter to capture the Class 5 District 6 championship with a 31-14 win over the Republic Tigers Friday at CHS.
With the win, Carthage advances to the Class 5 state quarterfinals, where it will face Capital City Saturday in Jefferson City. Capital City defeated Lebanon 46-25 Friday night. ×
