LAMAR, Mo. — Lamar High School is district football champions for at least the 15th year in a row after Friday’s 43-23 Class 3 District 4 finals win over the Holden High School Eagles at Thomas M. O’Sullivan Stadium in Lamar.
The Tigers took a 7-0 lead on the first drive of the game, marching 80 yards in eight plays capped by a 20-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Clayton Powell to lineman Brady Gire. Lamar never surrendered the lead through the sometimes chaotic game. ×
