Frankenmuth brings lightning, but Eagles fall short to Notre Dame Prep

PONTIAC – The rematch produced the same result, but not before a little Frankenmuth lightning made Pontiac Notre Dame Prep flinch.

Notre Dame Prep was still able to claim a Division 5 regional football title and advance to the semifinals after a 42-28 win Friday over Frankenmuth in a rematch of the 2024 Division 5 state final.
