FISHERS, Ind. — Coming off a comeback overtime win over Rapid City on Wednesday, the Indy Fuel kept the offense rolling against the Rush on Friday night at the Fishers Event Center.
The Fuel rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the first of three games against Rapid City, scoring four straight goals Wednesday night to get the win. Friday night, they picked up where they left off, potting a pair of first period goals in a 3-0 shutout of the Rush.
Jesse Tucker opened the scoring at 7:34 of the opening period, with assists going to Owen Robinson and Matt Petgrave. Jadon Joseph doubled the advantage with a goal from Brett Moravec and Connor Joyce a little less than six minutes later.
Dustin Manz sealed the win with a shorthanded goal into an empty net with 1:26 to go in the game.
