INDIANAPOLIS — Police say a person on a bicycle was struck and killed in a east side hit-and-run crash Friday night.
An IMPD spokesperson said it happened in the 3400 block of North Shadeland Avenue just before 11 p.m. Friday.
The spokesperson said officers dispatched to a report of a crash found an adult male who had been hit. The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
IMPD said the driver of the vehicle that struck the man did not stay at the scene after the crash. Police did not provide a description of the car or the driver.
