King Charles has celebrated his 77th birthday by taking control of a brand new tram train during a visit to a Welsh train depot, marking a scandal-free public engagement after recent weeks of controversy.
The monarch was reportedly in good spirits as he indulged in some birthday fun, getting behind the controls of the train during his official visit to Wales.
