In the wake of the Bihar election results, the BJP has suspended former Union Minister RK Singh from the party, issuing an official suspension letter. Singh, who had repeatedly gone against the party line, had openly questioned NDA candidates ahead of the polls and alleged a Rs 62,000 crore electricity scam against the Nitish Kumar government.

He also labelled Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary, JDU’s Anant Singh, and RJD’s Surajbhan Singh as murder accused, and targeted RJD candidates on social media, urging voters not to support them, even comparing casting such votes to “drowning in a handful of water.”
